The Republican Party leadership should do their patriotic duty and use the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution to dump Trump, immediately.

“I rise today Mr Speaker to call for the impeachment of the President of the United States.”
CLIP PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP
“My fellow Americans. It’s Watergate all over again.”
Hi. I’m Leon Hawthorne. It’s time for the Republican Party to wake up, do their patriotic duty and dump Trump.
There doesn’t need to be a Special Prosecutor, or Articles of Impeachment. President Trump can be removed from office immediately, today, if Cabinet members say he is not up to the job. I’ll explain how, in a moment.
But let’s just look at his record…
Leaking foreign intelligence to the Russians, sacking the FBI Director and obstruction of justice.
CLIP PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP
“I said: if it’s possible, will you let me know: am I’m under investigation and he said: you are not under investigation.”
Just the latest in a never-ending saga of incompetence, arrogance and stupidity.
An exasperated Republican Senator has pleaded for one day, just one day, without a crisis.

“Speaking of stupid and mad men… Donald Trump…”
Trump has turned the White House into a laughing stock. Great news for late night comedians, but a bad joke on the American people.
Everyday is a ‘bring your daughter to work’ day in the Oval Office. An act of shameless nepotism, extended to his equally unqualified son in law.
His spokesmen has lied and tried to undermine the press, only sacrificing his own dignity in the process.
CLIP: SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
“Let me put this whole Russia thing to bed, once and for all. Trump is innocent. How do we know? Because he told us so, period.”
Trump has almost started World War 3 with North Korea. He’s screamed at the Australian Prime Minister. Refused to shake hands with Angela Merkel.
Forget the policies. Think just about the temperament of this vulgar narcissistic ego-maniacal clown.
CLIPS: PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP
“You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of here wherever…”
“Get him out of here. Get out.”
“When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy.”
“You got to see this guy. Argh, I don’t know what I said. I don’t remember.”
“He’s a war here because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured, OK. I hate to tell you”
“They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.”
As the president prepares for his first foreign trip, the question is: ‘America, are you sending us your best people?’
Let me explain how he can be removed from office.
Under the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution, all it takes is Vice President Mike Pence plus a majority of the principal Cabinet members to write a letter to both Houses of Congress saying Trump is unable to discharge his duties.
Thereupon, Trump is deemed to have stood down and the Vice President becomes Acting President, instantly.
The 25th Amendment is not limited to medical emergencies, such as when President Reagan was shot. The words: “unable to discharge his duties” are not defined; and can mean anything Congress wants them to mean.
The process grants Trump a right to challenge his Cabinet colleagues and demand a trial before the House and the Senate. Trump would resume office unless two thirds of both Houses vote against him.
So, this would only be attempted if the leadership of the Republican Party knew they had enough support to dump Trump.
This would be a constitutional coup d’etat. Quick yet bloodless. It would be futile, even humiliating for Trump to ask for a trial.
Mike Pence would be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States; and the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan would become Vice President.
Whatever the faults of these two men, America and the world could breath a sigh of relief that the lunatic has lost control of the asylum.
I’m Leon Hawthorne. Thanks for watching.
